This doorbell can be installed completely wirelessly, but it can also be hardwired to supply constant power to the battery.

If you're using the doorbell wirelessly, you can potentially avoid drilling by using third party 3M strips to mount the doorbell, but doing so is not recommended by the manufacturer. Eufy itself does not offer approved no-drill mounts.

Eufy doorbell cameras allow you to save your videos locally, so you don't need to pay for a cloud subscription. However, there is an option to purchase a cloud subscription if you prefer to have a cloud backup.

This doorbell does not have overhead view capabilities.

Eufy doorbells can notify you from an Amazon Echo speaker if someone rings the bell, but it will not work on Google Home speakers — Google Home does not support this feature for third-party devices.

This doorbell may be compatible with your existing chime when hardwired.

This doorbell can tell the difference between people and other types of motion and send notifications accordingly.

This doorbell is compatible with eufy Minibase Chime (T8023). However, it is not compatible with the eufy Wi-Fi Chime (T8020) or the eufy Chime (T8740/T8742).
